Stephen Hanson has been practicing medicine as a physician assistant since 1981, and has practiced in a number of specialties. He is currently practicing full-time in occupational medicine and urgent care in addition to his administrative duties.
Steve has significant expertise in the regulation, deployment and utilization of physician assistants in the health care system. His expertise has been gleaned from years of practice, and years in both state and national leadership. Steve has served in executive leadership in both the California Academy and the American Academy of PAs, and he is a regionally recognized expert in PA regulation and professional practice.
